The story of Storz began over 125 years ago in southern Germany. Originally the company made bakery products, but by 1900 it was producing chocolate bars and later making chocolate from the raw cocoa bean. The first solid chocolate pieces were manufactured in the 1950’s – designs that we still have today like road signs, VW busses and praliné dice. Today the company remains family owned and is led by the great-grandson of the founder, Christian Storz. Product development remains strong and, since the 1990’s, Storz has become the market leader in solid chocolate novelties.
