Founded in 1994 by Walter Bovetti, Bovetti chocolates are hand decorated in a state of the art factory which combines traditional hand-made work and industrial rigour. Bovetti use only top grade raw materials, pure cocoa butter and no soya lecithin. In 2006, Walter Bovetti along with 5 chocolate making friends created the ethical/fairtrade association named Roca Cacao in Sao Tomé to sponsor replanting projects on the island and finance the purchasing of fermentation and drying equipment for the cocoa pods. Already 120 people have been helped to a better income as a result of the association.
